Randal "On The Box" Contest - Deadline July 4th, 2008

Here at Randal Trucks, in our never ending quest to constantly improve our line of trucks, we've decided to update the ubiquitous box we pack your trucks in. We're pleased to announce our "I'm On The Box" Contest. Here is your chance to immortalize yourself on the side of the Randal Trucks shipping boxes, and to see your image being shipped all over the world. We want killer images of you, skating on our trucks and looking good! Submit any action photo you've got to us for consideration and you might become the image printed on the side of all the Randal boxes!

Submissions should be medium to hi-resolution. We'll be printing directly onto cardboard, so the winning shot will be converted into a duotone suitable for printing on corrugated boxes.

To Enter, send your photo, name and information listed below in the rules to onthebox@randal.com. Submissions can also be posted to this thread on Silverfish Longboarding.

Rules:

Images should show you skating and we want to see the trucks. Your chances of winning increase if those trucks are Randals, by the way.

Submitter needs to hold the rights to the photo or get permission from photographer.

Contest deadline is July 4th at Midnight PDT.

Contest winners will get a Randal Truck product pack, as well as international notoriety. That's right, we have stuff for you, too!

So what are you waiting for? Get skating and start shooting.

Welcome to the New Randal Trucks 2008 Website.

2008 is going to be a great year for Randal Trucks. With a new 125mm R•II aimed at the mini skate market, and a whole host of improvements and revisions to the current line of trucks, the Randal line is bigger and better than ever.

Also, some of the best competition speed trucks in the world, the Comp•II's are available again, and you can custom build your set with your choice of baseplates and hangers. The Comp•II has won more downhill speed races than any other truck, and there is a reason why. The unique floating hanger system is unriveled in the world of competition speed trucks, providing the lowest amount of possible friction on the bearings at high speed, these trucks only feel at home when they are pushing the limits of speed and performance.

The most popular Randal Truck, the R•II has seen a vast improvement as well. Known as the Revision 2, the new R•II's feature a 'cast in' axle versus the older most common style of axle, the 'press in'. A cast in axle allows for a much stronger axle, and a virtual elimination of axle slipping. The axles themselves have also been upgraded to a Grade 8 Steel, and have added another step of heat treating for extra long life.

This website is here to benefit all skateboarders, no matter what your equipment. This site should serve as a great resource of information for setting up your trucks correctly, adjusting them, customizing base plates, and long term mainenance of your trucks.

We hope you enjoy riding your Randal Trucks as much as we enjoy making them. Enjoy the new site, and keep pushing the limits of your skating.
