The Randal Motorboard
The Randal Motorboard was the first motorboard with a mid engine configuration and a direct drive shaft with a rear trans axle. Much better for balance, the design makes for the best manueverability of all the motorboards. Capable of long drifting slides, the Randal Motorboard can gobble up wheels and asphalt to no end. Currently out of production, the design is being looked at for an electric version. A true slider for the flatlands...
The built in rollcage protects the vital engine parts from the elements .
The compact design housed a slip clutch, a super strong drive shaft, with a band brake.
The cast aluminum controller provides smooth throttle and brake response while feeling very solid in your hand while skating.
The rear trans axle is designed like those used in automobiles. It even has it's own oil reservoir.
Custom baseplates allow for the stable Randal geometry in the trucks, with a normal skateboard wheel base, feeling super comofortable for any longtime skater.
